Description
This process is a high level process of what could occur to get to the benefits of the proposed process above.
- Create/Participate in an Event
- Event means
- email,
- website,
- mailing campaign,
- voice mail,
- phone campaign,
- in-person campaign
- Gather Membership Information

- Potential member can send email to an organizational email address or
- You can send an email to organizational email address with their email address

- Potential members are on your website and they enter their information
- You can go and enter the Potential member’s information
- or
- When the Potential member is on the Web - The Potential member clicks to Talk - Your Website dials Membership Chair if you want.

- While talking to Potential member, ask them to log on and send an email
- Or
- You go to web and enter information

- Mailer/Postcard/Newspaper Ad/ Membership Form
- On all offline, paper literature place a a link that leads directly to sign up form.
- Potential member is directed to enter their information to get additional information.

- Record a welcome message that supplies some organizational information.
- At the end ask Potential member to hit button number X

- If you encounter someone and have recorded their information on paper or
- You think of someone and or an official who should become aware of your organizations cause or
- During an event in town, scrap the sign-up sheet,
Have your laptop or palm pilot and enter their data into the form
- Automated Delivery of Membership Information
- Connected to this link / form is a letter written by the Membership Committee
- This information, brochure/ sign up form is automatically delivered to potential member within seconds automatically!
- Information is there before they even get home in the in person situation
- Membership Database
- The name and e-mail address of each subscriber is automatically added to our SOHPS database
- You can enter their name in the form on a website, saving you endless hours of data entry!
- Follow and Ensuring they remember
- Personalized follow up reminder letters are automatically sent to each of our potential folks
- This can be done at regular, predetermined intervals
- Regardless of whether they join or just want to stay and be informed.
